I'd expect at least a bit of the neck finish to be worn off after 35 years of even light playing. Keep in mind this is not the "heyday" of Gibson. This is probably the lowest point quality wise after Norlin's takeover. Three piece top, three piece maple neck, pancake body. It may be a great player, or it might be a dog.
