Members Steadfastly
Yes, it's a much simpler operation than it used to be. She will have to be careful with her diet from now on, though.
Members bsman
My wife had that done when she was 50, and the recovery was a snap. However, some things (especially cheese and gravy) do bother her still. I'm hoping your mom has as easy a time with the surgery as my wife did. Members Mr_GoodBomb
Glad to hear everything went well. I had my gullbladder removed when I was 18. Wasn't so bad, but man, if I eat three times a day, I {censored}, 15 minutes later, 3 times a day. Apparently it's very common. Let her be warned. Not necessarily. I don't know about everybody, but there are no restrictions on what I can eat.

Members linthat22
I'm late for the pre-surgery mojo, but here's some hardly to no pain mojo headed her way!
Members Steadfastly
Not necessarily. I don't know about everybody, but there are no restrictions on what I can eat. I would talk to your doctor if I were you. Oily foods and a few other things are not recommended for one who has had their gall bladder removed.
