Members Flintc
Black pickguard looks better. I have an Esquire, and they are great guitars. I use a Kinman pickup. You might try one.

Members bsman
Very cool, but I'll bet it weighs a ton! I have a little travel acoustic (Go Guitar) with figured walnut B&S that weighs a surprising amount for such a little beast. I really like walnut, but we seem to be in the minority. In fact, I've had some folks just tell me to my face "walnut is not a good tone wood", even after they complement the tone of my little Go. Members fulcrumpoint
Where did you get the body and neck from? The black PG is better, but that guitar is nails for sure! Good job!
Members Elias Graves
Walnut is the best! That's really nice. Probably not too bad, weightwise. Walnut is a lot lighter than maple. EG

Members teledweller
Looks great! I LOVE that pickguard. Where did you get that? I cut up a raggedy, women's hippie shirt and cut and glued it to the black pickguard.
