Members metalheadUK
I bought this American Series Tele new in 2005. I was amazed at the quality of this guitar...flawless. Then, a week later, I bought a battered Highway 1 Tele, and pretty much forgot about this one. Then, the other day, I was telling CSM about this guitar...hardly touched, still on it's original strings!!! And that got me thinking, and so ,Today, I've decided to actually play the thing...wonder if I'll like it as much as when I bought it? So I just snapped some pics in the garden, and I'm gonna have a play on it!
Members lefchr
Did the highway one play that much better? Why would such a beautiful guitar sit unplayed for 5 years? You could send it to me and I would play it since it is just taking up space. I'll even do it free of charge;)

Members Special J
I hear what you mean about the vintage style bridges. I've always prefered them on Teles. That AS looks sweet though.

And do you have any pics of the Highway 1?Well, I can see why I bought it.It plays superbly...slightly chunkier neck than I remembered, fit and finish are top.Sounds like a Tele! It's so shiny and new looking though...it's a candidate for a relic job!Heres the Highway 1. Members bsman
I'm sorry -- but the question must be asked: Why on earth would you buy TWO 3-tone-sunburst-on-white-PG teles in a week?!?!?

Members bsman
Well, I guess there is the possibility that I could use this tactic to confuse the wife -- just never let her see both at once...

Members Willyguitar
I would certainly be tempted to buy AT LEAST two sunburst teles, if I could get away with it (which I can't).

Members Willyguitar
My wifes been cooking great meat for years yet is strictly vegetarian, it's not an uncommon Indian thing I know - I spend a lot of time in India - you have to check for the 'non-veg' on the menu! I also understand that it is not uncommon for people on HCEG to have guitars that they rarely or never play.
