Members steve_man
Okay, just bought a set of pups from Doc Morbius. Gonna get a new pickguard/knobs and pup covers set. Looking at getting them from Guitar Fetish. Anyone get this stuff from him before? Good stuff? The price is nice... So, here's my Strat: Wanting something other than bright white. Thinking about these colors: Aged White White pearl Australian Red Tort Regular Tort
Members BryanMichael
Have you considered MINT GREEN? (the classic 60's fender mint green) :poke: It looks like this:

I have a sunburst, not much else goes with it that is Fender OEM.

Members steve_man
I do like the white...but the white on this one is TOO stark white for my taste. I had one a few years back that had an aged (or parchment) pickguard on it, and it looked great! That's the color I'm leaning towards. I like tort shell, and I like the mint green, but I'm afraid I would get tired of it. Does look good though... Would cream covers look good with an aged white guard? Members Carbohydrates
Mint, I would say. Cream/aged looks nice as well. I don''t care for cheap tort, since it always looks... cheap.
Members Metalrulez
Another vote for black here. Or chartreuse if you have the nadds.
Members Bro Blue
There are only four colors that look right on a Strat: tort, white/aged pearloid, mint green, and black - in that order. Any of those would do fine, although I like either tort or mint green on bursts. Get the cream/aged pickup covers, knobs and switch tip to go with it. I have a few GFS guards and trem rout covers on my Strats and they look good and fit as well as anything else has.

Members wagdog
oh, and yes, I've ordered p/g's from gfs and they are great. You may, or may not need to put another hole or two in for the screws though (this is for pretty much any p/g, not unique to gfs).

Members Muddslide
Aged white, parchment or mint green would be nice. Tort would be sweet too. I don't dig black too much on Fender bursts usually. Just personal taste. Plus, I used to really dig pearloids but I got sick of them. Don't care for it much any more. Yeah, that's really the three colors I'm deciding on (well, aged white/parchment are about the same). Just don't think I like the black on a burst Strat. I like the tortise shell...but a friend of mine has one that looks like mine with a tort guard on it. Don't wanna have twins! I like the GFS mint green...doesn't look too green in the pics...but I also like his aged white!
