Members StringKing7
Saw an SG on craigslist for a pretty low price. The guy sent me pics. I've never seen this model before and can't find any info on it. I'm thinking its a fake, but I'll let you guys help me. He said its an "orange sparkel SG seamore Duncans MINT and LOUD." Members Ital_Stal
its interesting, some fakes are for instance this flame inlayed, triple humbucker supreme: but i wouldn't go for it, not worth the cha-chingos

Members senor-penguin
I'd try $350, but $400 sounds good
Members Slave2TheAudio
I would try lower, but 400$ might be alright for it. Depends on how it plays / sounds.
Members Alecto
Oh god, the seller's not even trying! On the plus side, those look like Seymour Duncan pickups. Play it and try offering him $350, you never know.
Members maxnew40
Well it is not an SG Standard as the truss rod cover claims. The SG standard would not have dots and would also have binding on the fretboard and a crown inlay on the headstock. Max
Members Wyatt
I actually take back my fake statement. Looks like it's just a heavily modified SG Faded. If it was born a Faded then someone took the time to grain fill it. Highly unlikely. Could be a modded Special or any one of over a dozen limited runs over the last 2 decades. If it was a Special the pickguard, pickups, truss rod cover, tuners and finish are all non-original. I sure wouldn't commit to buying it without seeing it in person.
