Members Arkery
I wanna upgrade my SG, curious on what a good bridge would be for under 100 dollars (no bridge should really be over 100 dollars anyway...) Thanks for the input :].

Members Arkery
Nothings wrong with it, I'm just curious if anyone out there has tried a better bridge, I already have a 59' and JB in her. I wanna put some Gotahs or Spretzels on her as well.Just kinda re-work her. She's a beaut already, just wanna make her more of a power house than she already is. Is an Earvana nut pretty good? Is it hard to install?
Members treedroppings
go to stewmac dot com they have bridges, so does warmoth I think upgrading the little bridge parts and getting a bone nut might work at those 2 websites do you wnat a bigsby a maestro tailpiece a kahler might make something too kahler's usually fit w/o modification peterflorance.com usually recommends an aluminum tailpiece w/ his 59 pafs copies
Members Padrino
earvana makes some interesting things. I'm not a huge believer in their products, but i know guys that swear by them. as far as the install goes for it, unless you're really confident, i wouldn't play with a nut install. if things arn't aligned right even with their "compensated tuning system" your intonation is still gonna be toast. if you're set on replacing the bridge, i'd check out a TonePros option though, i've heard they're quite nice. Members Arkery
Thanks for the input I'll look into what both of you have stated to me. I'm pretty confident in my installation abilities, lol.. I've fixed a busted headstock with pretty limited experience with it, the only part I'm gonna be iffy with is filing the slots down to size, I might have a proffesional do that. Moderators Ratae Corieltauvorum Posted June 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted June 5, 2010 The stock hardware on the Epi is not good and you are perfectly right to want to replace them. I'm not sure of the stock bridge pins on there but either an ABR, or a Tuneomatic or nashville bridge fro this selection will do you well, it's all Gotoh on this page http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/gbridge_gotohgibson.htm The lightweight tailpiece is also well worth considering
Members poolshark
http://store.guitarfetish.com/wibrrobrlost.html That's a decent roller bridge for not a lot of coin. I have one, and it's a passable TonePros knockoff.

I think it's a tune-o-matic (possibly a knock off) I will check out both of the sites listen, once more, THANK YOU
