Members RockNote
curious, what are they going for? My local dealer asks DKK8,399, but I've found a still lower price at Thomann in Germany, namely
Members straycat113
$700 This is not 1980.lol I heard they were going to be close to $1,300 here. Well the Wolfgang which you can say is really in its third incarnation as I count the EBMM EVH as the first, is a modern day classic ax. I do not own a Fender but have the EBMM and Peavey models which are my favorite guitar of the last 20 years. Kind of strange though that outside of the fact it is made in Japan and is a flat top instead of an arch he says all the componets are the same as on the US model and it is $2,000 cheaper? There has to be more to it than that as I can guarantee it has a very thin veneer quilt top but same pups, neck, pots and stainless steel frets should make it a really big seller and great buy for the price. Plus no bindings on headstock. My Danish dealer states (in opposition to the video) that that neck is not quartersawn maple. There is no positive description of the neck, i.e. it doesn't say what replaces the original's quartersawn maple.
