Members docjeffrey
I was inspired to add a few visual details to my SG when I saw the CS's new version. The color is not right, and I don't have lightening inlays (nor does Angus on his original '68), but the washer, switch tip, and added pickup ring do look pretty cool! I had all of these bits in my bin, so I figured I'd give it a try. I think the witch hat knobs are particularly groovy. I'm gonna forego the ABR bridge because the one I have is a Tone Pros locking unit. The stoptail is lightweight aluminum. All of the metalwork is nickel, and the pickups are Gibson BB V's (not Pros--no wax potting on mine). They sound amazing and I've had no feedback issues. His pickup ring is screwed into the scratchplate with black philips screws. I have some, but I'm just gonna cut off the heads and super glue them into the holes. Here's the new CS model:

Members Superrust
The knobs do look sweet. I would like the Angus guitar but the cost is not for me. I like your idea. Great looking guitar
