It still needs "dialed in"

I have a few things to sort out like some grounding issues. I also need to file some grooves into the bridge so the strings stay in place, especially the thinner ones. But a few things I noticed is that it sustains like crazy, and is very acoustically loud. Once I get it all set up then I can give you a much more detailed description.

Yep. It's shimmed about 3 mm in the back. It's a Bigsby B16. Most people skip it and get the b5, because the b16 is a pain to set up. You have to have a body that fits it properly (not all teles do) and the bridge is set up for a wound G. Some people have had luck adapting TOM bridges to work with it, too.

How do you know if the bigsby is going to fit? Just trial and error or is there a sure way to tell.
