Members jamdogg
if it plays/sounds as good as it looks it doesnt matter. are you happy with it?
Members Sheik Yerbouti
It still needs "dialed in" I have a few things to sort out like some grounding issues. I also need to file some grooves into the bridge so the strings stay in place, especially the thinner ones. But a few things I noticed is that it sustains like crazy, and is very acoustically loud. Once I get it all set up then I can give you a much more detailed description.

Members kulardenu
Did you have to shim the neck for the Bigsby?
Members Sheik Yerbouti
Yep. It's shimmed about 3 mm in the back. It's a Bigsby B16. Most people skip it and get the b5, because the b16 is a pain to set up. You have to have a body that fits it properly (not all teles do) and the bridge is set up for a wound G. Some people have had luck adapting TOM bridges to work with it, too.

There has to be 8 1/8" from the back of the guitar to the front of the bridge pickup route.
Members Sheik Yerbouti
is that black tape under the b16? It's a trim piece made out of glossy black pickguard material. I'm going to get a nicer one lazer cut when I get back to school, it'll be made out of the same B/W/B as the body.
