Members gtarbastrdchild
Is there anything anyone can recommend to polish off the corrosion and smegma which coats my guitars after every show? Thanks

Members onerailunder
We hose down boats and trailers with freshwater after use. If you're playing outside, leave your case closed while you're playing. No need for it to absorb the 90% humidity air. I just keep a clean cloth in the case to wipe up perspiration post show. I'm not playing on the the beach. Nevr-dull is a decent polish, I might try it.

Members Emory
I play on Beach in Jomtien Thailand, and assume our climates are quite similar: hot, humid and salty (good in women, bad for guitars). I doubt closing case will make much difference regarding humidity penetration unless it is water and air tight. I have to wipe the ton of sweat off with a towel. Corrosion: wipe off strings with alcohol before and after playing. Sweat is so nasty on metal parts, eaten plating off of several brands of pups, tuners, tailpieces. Maybe try chrome polish... I don't know, can't get or bring it back here. Grover tuners don't rust here, btw.My sympathy to youAshes to ashes, dust to dust. Even plastic in Thailand rusts....
