Members KidEh
I'm buying a thin skin jazzmaster this week off wildwood! I'm now faced with the last minute decision of picking between lake placid Blue and and Daphne Blue. Pros and Cons of Both Daphne + Love the light colored body + Looks amazing with the stock pickguard - Matching Headstock looks just plain odd from the pictures Ive seen LPB + Looks great with Tort + Matching Headstock looks perfect - Would Prefer a Lighter Color on the Body - Metallic finish looks a little too "macho" for me Thanks for your input! And yes, I'm getting a Jazzmaster to look like this dude right here:
Members EADGBE
Good question. Too bad they don't have a blue color in between.
Members d_dave_c
Daphne. You could always sand down the headstock later.
Members ten56gibby
Both look good. But LPB is just too damn sexy.

Members Carbohydrates
Daphne is one of the custom colors I prefer without a matched headstock, but I think LPB is kind of ugly, so Daphne still wins.
Members notjonahbutnoah
Yeah, daphne w/ a matching headstock is like one of those new thunderbirds whereas a non matching is like a sweet 50s showcar t bird. Daphne all the way. It always looks sweet, whereas lake placid you kinda have to catch under the right light.
Members schoolie1
I voted Daphne Blue, but Sonic Blue has the sound of the ocean in it. GO sonic, baby!

If Sonic Blue is an option, that's a clear winner. God, Sonic Blue is unbelievably sexy and looks killer with a matching headstock.
Members LameAim
Don't really like either. The Daphne is too light and Lake Placid is too bold for my tastes. I'd love to have a guitar with the same blue of the one in this video:
