Members the new guy
I've heard good things on other forums about the Envoy's big brother, the Bandit, but I've been told it's more of a gigging amp. So I'm looking at the Envoy in my never ending search for tone.............. I'm primarily a music room player, but I get together with a couple other hacks twice a month to make guitar-like noise........... if you have one of these bad boys, please enlighten me. thanks http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-Envoy-110-Guitar-Amplifier-with-TransTube-Technology?sku=481333&src=3WFRWXX&ZYXSEM=0&CAWELAID=31062276
Members vintage clubber
For the price point and for "music room" playing, I don't believe this one can be beat: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-Pathfinder-15R-Guitar-Combo-Amp?sku=481948 I'm a die hard tube amp guy, but I really love this amp! Yep, I agree, I've already got one. But I'm really interested in hearing about the Peavey, if anyone has one.
Members gitmo
Yep, I agree, I've already got one.But I'm really interested in hearing about the Peavey, if anyone has one. I have one. Mine is about 10 years old and is made in the USA. It has a decent clean but I thought the speaker was a little under powered, the Blue Marvel is fine for the house. I just swapped out the speaker for an Eminence Legend and I feel it really put this little amp over the top but for the money spent in total there are probably better choices. Members ten56gibby
2nd amp I ever owned. A '98 model a few generations ago it looks like. Was a bulletproof little amp.
Members Virgman
Peaveys are indeed bulletproof. Not fancy. Functional. Dependable.
