Members Les Paul Lover
Doesn't sound bad at all...... You'd be sweet in a nice pinkish kilt, gotta admit..... :poke:

Members bsman
Have to admit I've been intrigued by it (as well as the Vox AC4), but since I've already got a small tube amp (Fender Pro Jr.) I don't know what I'd gain with a SMALLER tube amp... Members seblo_15
I have a Pro Junior and a Gibson GA-5. There is a huge difference in being able to dime the amp. It is a different playing experience.
Members golias
It is indeed an amazing little amp. Great sound, pleasant breakup, tiny size. If it could do cleans loud enough for rehearsals, I would not only buy one but sell off all my other amps. As it stands, I'll continue to lug around my Classic 30. Members jelloman
Is that amp stock or modded, frets? ...yea, I don't have the legs for a kilt either...
Members mediocreplayer
nice clip! it reminds me to ask this: mine stopped producing sound a couple of weeks ago. I dont know anything about amps, but i took a quick look at the back and one of the tubes -- the one on the bottom-- looks pretty dark/black. could this be it? if yes, what do i do, where do i buy it from, etc? Members V-8
Is it just the video or is that neck SUPER fat? It's an optical conclusion. The player is very skinny, which in turn makes the guitar neck look super fat.

There are way more knowledgeable who can chime in on that but that would be my guess. I'm thinking they're mostly bought on line nowadays. When I was first coming up you could buy em almost anywhere cause radios and TVs also ran on them.

Have you tried a Tung-Sol yet? Here's your chance! The Chinese tubes were both crap in mine. You can find them on most online music stores. You can really tell the difference in tubes in such a simple and pure amplifier.

Members CoqBelliqueux
do you have to re-bias it? I think you need to bias power tubes between pairs so that they work together and not against each other. This wouldn't apply to the Champ. I never thought about that, honestly, I just did the switch.
