Members Iorek
I've currently got a GFS Fatbody in the neck position on my Tele, and I like it quite a bit. Is this just a Strat pup with a smaller footprint? Or are there substantial differences between the two? (I realize that the GFS pickup has oversized polepieces, but what else sets these apart from normal Telecaster pickups?)
Members wagdog
I'm going to guess the width/height of the spool and number of wraps, and as you've noted the oversize polepieces. They are great pickups, I have one in each of my sx teles. One of them has a lipstick cover which fits perfectly.

Members wagdog
I LOVE my Fatbody neck pickup! Honestly, I would not build a tele without one at this point. It's a killer pickup, at any price.

I have found several good bridge pickups I would use but I've never heard a better sounding neck pickup.
