Members Chill Mike D
Well, it's a mixed bag. It's not as good as the Vox modeling stuff, but I've been happy with some of it, especially the Fuzz functions. If you can get a used one for under $100 I think you'll be happy. Members PunkKitty
I have one that I really like. Honestly I've been thinking of selling it though. I've hardly used it since I mostly play clean and go directly to my amp. Plus, I have a nice collection of pedals. If you are interested, PM me. We can probably work out a price. Members stewiesguitar
should i look at something better, for a little more money? like a floor pod or Boss ME-25 or Vox tonelab ST how do these compare?
Members kirs
I had the Pocket Pod and sold it. It just didn't cut it for me at all. I have the Tonelab ST and it's mile above the Pocket Pod.
Members artiem
I had a Pocket POD once, but found it hard to use. Liked the sounds, but the problem with do-everything amp modelers is having to contend with a kludgy interface, and to me the Pocket POD was one of the more difficult to navigate. Members john_p_t
I'm a big Line 6 fan, but the pocket pod is very much their bottom of the range product. It's okay, but not much more than that. You'd be surprised how cheap you can pick the old Pod 2.0 for now, and how good it still sounds. I've used it on plenty of paid recording jobs, and it's got some things covered very well. I wouldn't recommend going any lower than that for modelling stuff, though, it becomes a false economy really.
Members SerpentyneXIII
I have a POD2.0 and a Pocket POD and the 2.0 is way better, easier to use, tweak and save/edit patches on.
