Members badbrain
An amazing album, made all the more amazing by the fact that Marc Ford had just joined the band, and I think they recorded the whole thing in like, 10 days. I think "Lions" is the only turd the Black Crowes have ever released. Too bad they became hippies, I saw them a few years ago with Marc Ford back in the band and I almost fell asleep. Members 77BlazerK5
one of my faves from the crowes, loved it.it has that dirty old heroin addiction vibe to it ,like AIC's FAcelift and Dirt.that's when they were starting to experiment with hard drugs.don't do drugs kids! Members jedisb
My favorite song on the album. The groove feels like the whole thing could fall apart at any second and yet they are so "in the pocket" at the same time.
Members triton76
One of the best albums of the 90's this My morning song and thorn in my pride are my faves. My gf took me up to see the Crowes in Santa cruz once but a rainstorm killed the power and they never went onstage. She was complaining to anyone who'd listen in the ladies room and awhile later a guy approached us and put us on the list for the Roxy in LA where we lived. It was amazing to see them in a club that size when they had released five albums of stuff we liked.
