Members NinjaModder
Well I was going to tighten the truss rod on my new old Teisco and then I discovered the when I turned it clockwise (looking straight at guitar, to the right) it loosened up the metal piece (cylinder with 4 holes along the top side) that is apparently on a screw attached to the truss rod. Well turns out I can't tighten it up because if I do it loosens the part that the allen wrench thing is suppose to go into which would then fall off to reveal a tiny screw thing. Now how do I adjust the neck now? I was reading around on the internet and saw that I just need to put a nut or something on it. How is it possible to tighten the truss rod without the piece coming off?

Members NinjaModder
Yeah. Here is the best I could do as of now. It is attached to a screw on the truss rod sticking out of the headstock.
