Members steve_man
Isn't really worth shipping an amp for a tube issue IMO. Then what? They put nice new tubes in it and then hand it over to UPS again? No thanks.Well, if it's a problem with the amp...they send me a new one... Members mrbrown49
Well, if it's a problem with the amp...they send me a new one... I went back and listened to your vid again and it just doesn't sound like a tube issue. I'd say send it back or have it checked out by a tech under warranty. Good luck man. Members steve_man
It's not the amp. After some testing of the electrical circuit, and having a tech from Sweetwater look at my video...we have decided it comes down to two separate issues in two places. When you unplug the cable from the amp, the sound goes away. At my house, I'm close to a dimmer switch. Hitting the switch, you can hear the noise change, and grow in volume. At church, we have florescent lights all over the place...and not great wiring. In other parts of the church...no problem, just in the auditorium. So, thankfully it's not my amp. However, I'm still wondering if noiseless pups in my Tele would get rid of the noise?
Members mrbrown49
You could try shielding the cavities with some copper tape. That really helped my p90 guitar with noise issues. It's still there, but tolerable.
