Members jds22
I've been wanting one of these for years but couldn't stand the weathered black finish. No offense to current weathered black owners. This is the new finish, blackberry burst. It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine.

Members brianeharmonjr
Nice. Always dug the S series stuff and have owned several. That finish looks fantastic in that picture.

The hardtail would be hot. It's nothing against it performance wise, or really even aesthetically, just feels odd to me. If I was in the market for an S-series with a trem, I'd hunt down an early 90' 540SLTD, as I am a huge fan of the original Edge trem. And yes, the hardtail S-series is sexy, too bad they are kinda hard to find. There's two versions1996 SF420 (mine)SF470-someone here bought one recently, beautiful guitars.
