So I've looked at this site:

http://gretschpages.com/serial-numbers/

But I still cant make head or tails out of it. The Official Gretsch website doesn't list the exact model number (it lists 7593 but not 7594):

http://www.gretschguitars.com/gear/

There are no serial numbers on the headstock (front or back) or on the back of the body.

Model No. 7594

Serial No. 939594-80

7594 was the white falcon II, the 7593 was the white falcon I. The 7594 was discontinued and replaced with the G6136DC. No idea why or what the differences are.

I think that guitar dates from September of 1993, and seems to use the 90's pre-Fender numbering scheme from that era.

From your number....

93 (year) 9 (sept.) 594 (model number minus the 7) 80 (production number of this guitar).

Here is a link with some specs on this model...

Tiltsta has it nailed.

This guitar is Post-Baldwin and PRE-Fender, the 7594 was made from 1989 to 2003 (at which point Gretsch made their deal with Fender for manufacturing and distribution).

Even though it is a pre-FMIC guitar, Gretsch used a similar numbering scheme. The number would indeed indicate a 1993 model.
