He doesn't necessarily hate what I play but he doesn't particularly want to hear it either. Even though I'm over 50yo, a son always has that deep rooted need to please his parents and I've realized that after all these years, the only way I can play anything my dad will enjoy is to make some attempt to play jazz. So yeah, it's pretty bad jazz but it is nonetheless sincere...Stolen Moments p.s. My mom loves rock so she's always been one of my biggest fans.
