Members Wicked_Tone
I finished my Partscaster project consisting of Jackson Dinky body, generic maple Strat neck, vintage tuners, high output pickups and upgraded electronics. I also painted the demon skull with Heaven and Hell background. I'm debating whether to seal the entire picture with a Lacquer gloss clear or matte clear finish, as I used enamels that professional pinstripers use on cars? The guitar sounds loud acoustically unplugged and really kills for heavy, high gain rock through my Peavey VTM and Triple X.

Members Belva
Don't even THINK about clear lacquer. You can paint enamel over lacquer but not lacquer over enamel. If you do the solvents in the lacquer will melt the enamel and make a mess out of a beautifully executed finish. Nice work. Too over the top for me, but still very nice. Members NHLfan2010
That is very nice work. I agree with customtele before me, it's a little to much for me, but I can still definitely appreciate the bad-ass-ness of it. Nice job.
Members fu2jobu
Find a sealer that wont {censored} up the paint and I would go with glossy. Great job on the paint scheme.
Members Wicked_Tone
Thanks for the replies. I'll look into a suitable clear coat. The paint itself is pretty durable, as it's used on cars for custom pinstripping. I just want to add an overall clear gloss to bury the artwork in a nice shiny coat.
