Members smorgdonkey
I think Jackson Custom shop prices have always been out of whack but that shredder with a Bigsby just seems like a Porsche with a Lada suspension. There are so many reasons that I wouldn't even consider it.

Members cjo
Shit, I bet a Bigsby would work on this: That's the first Jackson I ever owned, except in dark blue.
Members undergod12
I like that body you linked to from warmoth. For me a bigsby on a Jackson is just wrong though, and I like Jacksons. For $5000 there are a lot of killer guitars out there, you could spend $2000 and build your dream guitar from different suppliers. That, or get a soloist with a through neck. And as far as floyds go, my guess is that you would learn to love it. It really is a great design for the player. MusicZoo has a couple pages of custom jacksons, you should check that out too, http://www.themusiczoo.com/category/1920/Jackson-Guitars/ Wow. I never liked the Warrior shape until I saw this one: To the OP: I think the blue Warmouth body you linked to would be a much better match for the black Bigsby if you are set on going the Bigsby on a superstrat route. I'm not totally convinced it would work aesthetically on the smaller superstrat body but, then again, I'm considering putting a Bigsby on my Iceman so

Members sylvesterlowery
That's the first Jackson I ever owned, except in dark blue. My second Jackson, and the only one I own currently.Love the neck on this thing! Super thin.

Members RaVenCAD
$5300 for that is insane.. Specs out the window (cuz that's where I'd throw that Bigsby), that price will buy you a lot of much better guitars. It's your money, but you did ask for opinions. Love the green + black though.. Members bluesnapper
Gonna string it with 12s? Cuz that Bigsby ain't gonna stay in tune otherwise!
Members strtdv
Well it's your money, but IMO it's hideous.
Members smorgdonkey
Good thing your not then. Oh you are so wrong. During my consideration, I deemed that the most accurate way to express that it shouldn't be considered was to state that I wouldn't consider it. So...I actually did consider it. Sorry to confuse you.
Members metalheadUK
I think it's great! In a completely hideously tasteless kinda way. But the Bigsby is a bit jarring...it's like a supermodel with a colostomy bag.
Members Spike Li
Coming from someone who bought this today I think its pretty cool Wish mine had an ebony board.. But $5300 US???? No way man, waaay too expensive, you could get the above guitar and mod it for a hell of a lot less.

No way man, waaay too expensive, you could get the above guitar and mod it for a hell of a lot less. You are buying what is really just a soloist with a custom color. You could buy a standard soloist and have somebody local refinish it for 300 bucks. Savings: over 3k.

Members Orange Jackson
Wow. I never liked the Warrior shape until I saw this one: Yeah music zoo carries some good looking stuff that you just don't see everyday. If you like to look at guitars, and who doesn't, their custom charvel and fender stuff is sweet too. They use to have a link to all the guitars they've sold, OMG some of the Charvels and Jacksons in there were just amazing.http://www.themusiczoo.com/electricguitars.php . Members vintage clubber
They said it will be about $5300 to build this for me I've always wanted a Jackson with the 80's green. The Bigsby, man I love Bigsby's so I figured it would be perfect for this guitar. Ebony fretboard, Super Distortion in the bridge and a SD Jazz in the neck. Also have a coil tap for the bridge pup. Ordering it tomorrow as soon as the wife approves you and your wife need to step away from the the crack pipe...
