I really like "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" but you've got the Jeff Beck and Tina Turner versions to contend with. I do think they could be improved on although, tall {censored}ing order obviously.

And "If You Gotta Go, Go Now".

My band Does a song called "New Pony". It's all of two chords. I and V in E. I play it in open E with slide. People love it. I think it was on the "Street Legal" album. Very dark lyrics. Kind of swampy voodoo feel.

are you in the dead weather?! ;)

No. I never heard of Dead Weather until I ran a search for New pony. My band is called Chango. We play in S. Florida (this Friday at Octopus's Garden in Hollywood). But I've always played New Pony in the different blues bands I've been in.

well since you're here! you said I and V in E. Tabs say E and A.

Isn't A the IV chord in E? Or do you play E and B?

I have a book called The Definitive Dylan Songbook and yes the chords are A and E but in the key of A. This makes it I and V. I just transposed it down to E to make it easier to sing.

a lot of dylan can be made crossover stuff with a tempo change and stuff..

This, the beauty of great songwriting is that great songs transcend genre. Anyway, there have been a lot of great suggestions already. Why not listen to a Dylan playlist on shuffle and pick something that grabs you?
