Members SurveyofSociety
Cheers for the pics n vids. I've a feeling it's my technique-fail. The sandpaper and the key identifiers are good ideas though.

The sandpaper and the key identifiers are good ideas though. It is a technique thing. Relax that grip, it is not the pick sliding out of your grasp (why would it) it is your hand forcing it out. Members wrathfuldeity
i've put a dab on each side...and/or drilled a hole then put a drop of "aquaseal"...a tough rubbery stuff that is used to repair wetsuits but now I mostly use a cheap easy fix, get a bar of bow rosin...like for violins and cellos, scratch it a bit and rub your finger/thumb on the bar
Members espec10001
Focus more on using your wrist when you strum or alternate pick. My hands sweat A LOT when I play, but when I use a flat pick I use Dunlop medium grip ones and I never have a problem because it's all in the wrist. Follow the 3 P's to success: practice, practice, practice!
Members Faber
The small D'Addarios I'm using now have a slightly coarse surface, so right now I don't have that problem. When I used more slippery picks I found that talcum powder helped.
Members mikeman
Never actually used it, but it was the first thing that came to mind when I read your post. +
