Whenever any band comes up, there will inevitably be post where someone will say "I like their first album but nothing after that" Or "I liked the first two..." We all know the key to legend is dying young, but who has really gotten progressively better (in the same band)?

REO Speedwagon.....it wasn't until "Get What You Play For", their 4th or 5th album.... that everyone caught on....in like 1976

Whitesnake....they had several albums out before they caught on...

Def Leppard......"On Through The Night" is almost unheard of by anyone....that was like 1979....their lead guitarist at the time was like 16

I thought SoundGarden progressively got "better" and more creative as they grew and aged. Cornell's untamed vocals are "mind blawsting!" in the early days, but as a whole I do tend to enjoy the last two albums of theirs the most.
