Members BlackCat
I just got back from hearing Jim Campilongo Electric Trio followed by Bill Kirchen. Wow. That was some fine Tele playing!

Members Cobalt Blue
Campilongo is awe-inspiring.I wanted to quit playing guitar after the first time I saw the "American Hips" video on YouTube, but, you know, I worked through it.In his Fender promo vid for the reissued Princeton Reverb, he talks about how he dimes out the amp, angles the amp to the right side of the room, which makes everyone except guitar freaks run away from those tables because of the volume. You got the chance to see him, so how loud was it.

I was hearing the house mix rather than the sound direct from the guitar amp.

Members BlackCat
Campilongo was truly awesome but the highlight of the evening for me was Bill Kirchen. He's more of a traditional player but he does it so well.
