Members sk8centilli
3 smoking cinder blocks, really? Henry's enthusiasm is infectious (don't break it!).
Members Into Nation
I saw that vid and have to wonder how someone with little apparent charisma coupled with the decisions directing the company gets there. I looked at his bio and it's pretty impressive though, he was the one that bought the co. from Norlin.Maybe he's just lost his mojo...

I heard Michael Eisner speak once and had the same impression.

Members SDshirtman
What a crappy presentation. You could almost hear the yawns. Ben Stien could create more excitement. And whats up with the X=10 thing and their website? Seems like a blatent rip off of Apple's website and marketing ideas from WAY back. This from a company who claims to be an innovator? Members HanSolo
That product launch was laughable. Come on, a couple guitar hanging and a few more scattered on what looked like a smoking junk pile. A class of 4th graders could have been more creative. Members brandass
That's simply embarrassing. I'm a scientist. Most of the people I work with are engineers. Maybe the furthest planet from electric guitar marketing in the universe. At many of our seminars it can be difficult to detect a pulse in the presenter, much less the audience. But for thrills and chills I'd take ANY of our seminars over Henry's announcement of a revolution. Not even close. Downright embarrassing. And you can call the FirewoodX a lot of things, but "elegant" isn't one of them. I don't care who you are and what you think of that POS, it is NOT elegant. It is a toy with bells and whistles; no more, no less. If you like that sort of thing, fine, but don't try to label it "elegant". This company needs help. Everyone knows Apple invented Roman numerals. I'm sure Gibson will be hearing from their patent attorneys any day now.
Members GAS Man
That's F'n hillarious. I actually heard him say it (at 1:07) before I noticed you'd already commented on it. I had to back it up a few times to make sure that was what I heard him say. That's incredulous! That shows the man really truly is disconnected from guitars and players. Who here would not have enough sense to STFU and not let something like that slip out of their lips at a public unveiling of a "New Evolution" of the electric guitar. One that your worried about someone breaking just by handing it to them. Heck, talk about your Spinal Tap references, that's like this scene.Whether it was his idea of a joke or not, it still just shows how disconnected he is. And I don't think he was 100% joking.
