Members smorgdonkey
They are decent. The Burny heads will be along any second to tell you that they are better than Gibsons.
Members soundcreation
Depends on the model. And the year. Decent? Pretty much any MIJ Burny will be "decent". But again there is not just one "burny les paul". There are models up and down the price spectrum. So for example a 1980 or 81 Super Grade FLG 150 or 240 will have a 1 piece back solid flamed maple top with nitro finish, and fret edge binding...and yes smorg they will be as good and probably better than any gibson. But it also could be something like a FLG 50. Which would be multi piece backs plain tops and poly finish. Those...probably better than epiphone but not quite Gibson USA. If it's 450 I'm gonna guess it's not one of the high end models. Do your homework and then decide. http://www.japanguitars.co.uk/burny%20info.html
