new mix of a work in progress (Metal)-criticism welcome

I been working a bit more on my 8string riffs. This is still not finished.

 

Posted this also in the recording and amp forums, and thought this might be a good place to poast as well.

 

Any kind of constructive criticism is very welcome.

I just checked it out, this type of music is one i am not extremely familiar with; saying that, i think it sounds pretty cool!

 

It sounds dangerous and evil! Im listening to it through my onboard laptop speakers, so its not the best for catching those reall low notes. but i like the displacement section at about the 1:10 mark.

 

My only criticism would be you could perhaps do something to the eq on the guitar sound, or even roll off the distortion a tiny bit, to allow for more clarity of the notes?

Yes, the notes definitely need to come out clearer, I think most of that need to come from tighter playing. There are 4 gutiar tracks on this, and I really need to get my playing tighter for double tracking.
