Hey guys, i just bought a schecter damien FR and im pulling out my hair trying to get these strings loose:mad:! Ive bought 2 different sets of allen keys and screw drivers trying to get the string holders at the bottom to come loose. I dont know whether its a manufacturers mistake because i can get the top 3 strings locks off but when it comes down to the bottom string holders the allen key is either too small or too large, i need help.. aha:confused::confused::confused::facepalm:

the wrench you need is a 3mm allen. i've never seen a floyd that has tolerances that vary so much that a single wrench won't work for all 6 saddles, and as a guitar tech i see plenty of {censored}ed up floyds..

make sure the one you'r eusing is 3mm, and that the heads aren't stripped. some of the licensed floyd bridges use inferior metal alloys that can strip more easily than the hardened steel ones. if they are stripped, just remove them with pliers and install new ones. good luck
