Members riffy
I loved that. For me, I usually watch the Marty Stuart show every Saturday night on TV and I love his playing. In this video also, he has the best pure tele tone I have ever heard. Gary

High price tags aside, all I saw were Telecasters through mostly Fender-style amps. I realize their collective guitar rigs are probably worth more than my house, but given the genre and style, the tones they achieved just didn't seem especially out of the ordinary. Fine by me, though - all the better to let their playing, which was quite good, shine through.

Members maltomario
music should not about be how much weight someone puts on or takes off. Ricky has more talent in his pinky than most of you haters have in all your fingers. I'm glad he is still around ripping up the stage. And I'm not even a country fan. go {censored} yourselves

Only one person mentioned anything remotely related to Ricky's weight. He has gained a lot since I saw him last, I'd be more worried about his health. He IS a great musician, but he looks to be at serious risk for a heart attack.

The Ricky Scags weight jab was a joke, but I havent seen him in a long time and didnt recognize him. I thought that was a cabronita, my bad. Snake head? so thats the original tele Leo designed? I didnt know they reissued those.

So comments like "put down the donuts" and "ate all the pies" are pretty rude considering nobody on these boards knows his medical history or the reasons for his apparent weight gain The reason we have so many sub-par musicians in the charts now is because the industry is too focused on "looking right" than they are about musical talent or songwriting ability. maybe my FU post was wrong, and I'm sorry. Hearing insensitive things like that, even though they were in jest, upset me.

I wouldn't say that's the only reason, but it's one of them. There are still some butt-ugly people in the charts making sub-par music .
