and understand exactly how to set it up after installation and product registration ?

I got a usb interface cable and a software bundle made by IK Multimedia called "Total Guitar & Bass Gear Bundle" that came with a "Stealthplug" 1/4" to USB audio interface cable.

Yes, I'm having trouble getting it to work. I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong in the setup. When I run it (the amp simulators) I get no sound output to the computers speakers. I can hear the amp humming but no guitar sound . it;s like the guitar isn;t plugged in (even though it is). I open fruity loops and can see the sliders moving and the sound devices troubleshoot from the computers control panel shows that it is installed and working properly, but no sound is comming out the speakers (output device not configured correctly ?). I did adjust all the controls from the stealthplug control panel. Nothing is muted. What is a WMA device driver (I think that's what its called). What is ASIO and ASIO4all ? how are they used to control recording software. I need a guru to help me out and explain what I am ignorant about.

This is getting me steamed (at myself for being computer knowledge deficient).

There are 150 amp models and a ton of effects with this and I can't hear them (yet).What am I doing wrong.

I put a few E=mails into IK Multimedia's tech support website but don't expect an answer for a while.

Oh well:mad:

Really, If anyone can help me get this running I'd really be most appreciative

Usually this means you are not following the manual fully.

Have you retraced every step in the manual regarding setting up, Asio etc?

Most manuals are pretty good at explaining this stuff.

I know how frustrating it can be trying to find the magic computer setting. My computer has 3 audio cards so I was lost at first but eventually got everything set correctly. I don't have the programs you mention so can't offer any specific advice. However, Frooty Loops I assume will allow you to assign the output to different sources. Go through the list and hopefully one of them will be the magic solution.

Stealth plug? some people will put anything in their ass.

:facepalm::lol:

Thanks for the reply's

I did try to put the program ASIO4all as the device output driver but in the selection box it came up "shadowed" and wouldn't allow me to install it as the driver . I'm not sure what I'm doing (neophyte) when it comes to recording and "music" software. I got a Mustang II amp and the "fuse" software works great, the USB out works great in fruity loops, it works fine, but this new software for this interface cable is stumping me and my kids friends who record using "Fuse " and Fruity Loops and Audition and know a little more than me, but not enough to figure why there is no sound input being recognized by the simulated amps.
