Members dc*
Did it happen to be from a shop in Plymouth? If so I played it about 18 months ago, great guitar just couldn't quite justify another set neck humbucker axe. If it was the same one glad to see its found a good home! Must be the very same one, always felt a bit guilty about leaving it behind as it sounded so good, but it looks like it very much got a happy ending and is a great addition to your Gordon Smith 'family'! I don't suppose you could get me a complete Wantss inventory*?! I miss that shop! I got some killer deals there when I was at Uni in Plymouth in a few years back. *Updated daily if possible

Subtly different and understated , definitely an interesting piece and I'd imagine knowing Wants a fairly good deal as well. I wish I knew how they managed to source such a wide variety of interesting gear. If I wasn't 200 miles away I'd feel a day trip coming on, although the missus may not appreciate yet another NGD or 'investment' as I have started to term them. I'm sure having regular access to Wants you must get a large number of unexpected NGD's?

Members dc*
I remember you posting the through neck one - any ideas on the maker yet? Haven't got any photos of my guitars to hand but particularly memorable deals include a TV Yellow LP Junior DC 'lawsuit' copy, 1970s Wilson Sapphire Electric 12 String, Japanese Hondo Telecaster Custom with Dimarzio's and a Manson Kestrel. Wish I'd bought the Silver Jubilee Marshall combo they had in sometime 2005ish. Anything else of interest in at the moment?

Jings, that's different than GS! I've heard of Gordy.... if memory serves, that's what John(?) Gordon, the Gordon of Gordon Smith, went on to do when he left GS in the 80s. I fancy a couple of GS's p90 equipped Junior styles, myself. Maybe eventually one of their Strats..... I wish they'd do some basses again - I'd love to see what they'd do with a P bass. I'll try and get photo's up at the weekend, although the junior is currently awaiting a new pickup as part of a project that is taking far too long to be finished due to my indecision about what pickup to go for. If you promise not to say how much your deals were I won't say how much I got it for, suffice to say I can guarantee if you'd been in the shop that day I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have been able to get it
