Members ashasha
I've told this story before, but yes there are a few that are magic. I found an old acoustic in the woods years and years ago. It was obviously lost because no one lived around me that played and we lived in the sticks. So I take it home, clean it up and play it for about 6 years. This was back when I was a poor teenager. So I go off, get a job and start making money and buying guitars. Then one day I notice it was gone. I didn't think about it, but it had been gone for a while. I have no idea what happened to it.

Members soundcreation
No. I don't believe in magic. I do believe however that the very best guitars are somewhat rare, and represent a perfect "coming together" of measurable qualities. Good parts, resonant woods, perfect pickup selection..etc.... It's all science.

Members C-4
Yes. Heck, I think some amps are too. I totally agree with this. Not every single guitar can be equal to every other guitar, nor every amp equal to every other amp for that matter. There are always some that rise to the top tonally.
