Line out to a Yamaha Usb Mixer then dumped into Mixcraft. Black face setting on amp,Texas Deuce for the overdrive. Little reverb and delay both from the amp.

Guitar was my Tom Anderson.

Nice playing as usual Gary! :) And I know that amp's sound a mile away, since I've used it myself a few times!

BTW, I retubed my Champ 25 SE yesterday. I pulled out one of the 6L6s (to verify that it REALLY was a 6L6, and not a 6V6, since the amp is only listed as being a 25 watt amp), only to have one of the tube bases start to break free from the glass envelope. Rather than take any chances (considering that that tubes are subjected to vibration, and seemed to be the original tubes that came with the amp), I replaced both of the power tubes with a set of Sovtek 6L6s. Oh, I found out why it's only a 25 watt amp, in spite of having 6L6 tubes. It's cathode biased (in other words, Class AB1, instead of the more common Class AB2), like an AC30 (which is really NOT a Class A amp). Once I learned that little tidbit of info, the power rating made sense to me.

You are formidable in every respect! That was hot sweet and totally delicious!!!! You are a player with chops and your tone on that clip was fat nasty and beautiful! It definitely landed a blow for the scxd.

I am satisfying two impulses with this clip. One, I just wanted to play along with your clip. I ain't pretending to be in your class but I had fun. And, I did it using the Mustang I 59 bassman setting with gain and I used a Deltalab TO1 pedal. The guitar is a Fender Deluxe Player.

What are you talking about you kept up very nicely. A little high endy but it definitely cut in the mix. Very well done sir.

You laid down a blistering pace. It was an honor and a pleasure to play along. I laid down a couple of tracks first and kept upping the high end so it could cut through. I also used the bridge pickup.

Might also be that loss of high end hearing old timers get.... :p

You know frets I think the Texas Deuce would be right up your alley for the music you like to play. Best 808 out there with a seperate clean boost.

It certainly gave your tone articulation without losing that screamer power. Might just be something to look into.
