Members Andy315
Put one of these "gc exclusive" ones on layaway today hoping to put some gfs surf 90's in it but was wondering how it might sound? I compared this tele to one of the classic vibe ones and the bigsby tele sound bassier overall. Anyone own one of these that can help me out? Members richey888
I played one extensively....heavy as hell, but sounded and felt pretty dang nice. Sounded like a Tele, nice (woody for lack of a better word) tone on the bridge, that Tele middle sound....I would imagine with a proper setup and perhaps a pickup swap (although that would not be my 1st order of bidness, setup yes) you would have a cool 'lil number. Members Andy315
yeah that's what I'm thinkin...my buddy's a tech so he'll hook it up as best as he can setup wise, and I'll probably have him swap the p'ups then too...hopefully it sounds as good as it'll look! Members Andy315
See I usually default to sperzels but, this time I'm thinking about going with the Fender Schaller locking ones...I think the holes already match up so i won't have to drill.
