I'd say that what you paid for it would be about the max I would have.

The way that the pickguard doesn't conform correctly around the neck end does not speak to great craftmanship.

In the States we had a "Cruise" brand, which I think was a Korean brand of no great reputation, but yours is obviously a different spelling (and font).

Hi ,

thanks for your reply ...

i should have pointed out in my post that the gap around the bottom of

the neck is not original ...i altered it a few years ago when i fitted a

bigger named neck to it ,but it didn't feel right ...

the tone control knobs were the standard numbered/ knurled type,

not the brass ones and the extra slots in the nut were done by me ...

to raise the action for slide ......

many thanks for your help,

chris.:)

Chris,

Came across your post while actually looking for info on this particular guitar. I live in Chattanooga TN USA. About 11-12yrs ago I had a solid body, dark finish neck, sort of an electric red colored body, double pickups and was in MINT condition (purchased brand new in South Pittsburgh TN USA). Let me tell you....this BITCH could SKREEEM!!

I play strictly METAL and the pickups in her were far beyond what could have been xpected from a $125 off-brand guitar. The low end sound was typical "metal" crunch...the kind you just have to have for my style. Then...the high end? OMG, you want to talk SUSTAIN? It could go on for days with the right amp. Two of my buds I played with were just in awe at her. She had the Gibson style body with white trim up the neck. She was just awesome to look at and play. Here's the sucky part. In 2001, my son's biological mother (never married) decided not to have me round anymore, so I left. 3 weeks later, my $1200/week job got shut down. A month after that...my POS car engine blew to {censored}. So...no home, no job, no car, no money. You can guess what happened. I sold her to a pawn shop. She hung there for about a year. I finally got bak on my feet, got the money...to late. She was gone forever. One of my biggest regrets in my music life. But, back to your question...They were f'n great guitars, man. To hell with anyone else's opinion. Don't know where it came from, don't know if they still make em, don't know where to find another one. But if I DID come across one...I'd sell my soul.

Universal Peace and Harmony to you, my brother.
