Just for the hell of it, the Mrs. and I recorded an instrumental version of 'Carol of the Bells.'

You can listen to it here. Happy Holidays!

Recording info for the gear geeks:

Guitar (me): Fender Strat (Warmoth SRV maple neck & pau ferro fretboard, Kinman Woodstock Plus pickups) -> Boss DD-20 (for the looping) -> Fender Blues Junior with V30 speaker

Bass (the wife): 5-string Fender MiM Jazz Bass (with DiMarzio Ultra J pickups) -> Roland Bass Cube 30

Acoustic guitars: Taylor and Harmony 6-strings (for the slide part)

You sir are a true professional and I'm impressed. Your arrangement was fabulous and was a true joy to listen to. Thank you for sharing that with us. And let me apologize for the apparent lack of interest in original recordings around here.
:idk:

Thanks for listening, and your kind words. Most appreciated. :)

This is the wife and myself (wife on bass) backing up a singer-songwriter doing a Christmas-themed tune. A little rough, but he liked the first take so . . .

Believe it or not, that's the MXR Zakk Wylde overdrive pedal between the Strat and the Blues Junior.

Thanks for listening. :)
