Members Robert Kortus
I want pics of your old "budget" guitar from the 60's. GO!
Members chuck1016
It's not electric, but it's an old Silvertone. It looks and sounds like it's had a hard life, but I love this guitar. It's set up for slide and stays in open D. I swear, sometimes when I play it I can hear a needle scratching

Members Elias Graves
Thanks. My dad bought it new. It was in pieces in a box when I got it. Took me months to get it back to where you see it.Since then, the finish disintegrated. I'm about to begin a rescue job on that in the spring. Members drawdeep
I just sold this one... I have actually gotten a few of these and fixed up/flipped them in the past couple of years and they are honesty darn good guitars with nice jangly pickups. Great for players with small hands. Members fretmonster
The guitar in the middle is a hotrodded 60's vintage Harmony H19. I absolutely the sound of this guitar which can be jangly, twangy or Jazzy and the playability beats a Ric IMO.
Members Davo17
Heres my 1954 Silvertone. Still plays and sounds great-its a little time capsule. Members redwallet
Not mine, but identical down to the broken tip on the headstock. 1 pc body...maple ply neck. Got it with intentions of changing neck/electronics, but I guess it found a home under the bed. ...Oddly, the one pictured was on sale for ~$900?!? Members Wulver
This one has become my main acoustic, a Harmony Broadway I discovered in a local shop. Not sure the exact date, but they stopped making them in '71 or so. Lacks some of the subtle colors and overtones of a flattop acoustic, but it's loud as hell and very heavy in the midrange. Cuts through wonderfully.
Members Karma1
The acoustic hanging on the wall is a Harmony from the early '60's and was my first guitar when I took lessons as a kid.
Members Mr_GoodBomb
Kay Vanguard. I installed the bridge because the original was wood, ungrounded, and total crap. It needs intonated. Someone at some point drill the neck and routed to install a truss rod, so it's surprisingly functional. Considering selling it, it's cool but it doesn't get much use.
