Members sirkonks
Thinking about snagging one of these. Curious if anyone has one or has played one before.
Members vintage clubber
I had one about 13 years ago and sold it. It was a very nice guitar, but heavier than a Norlin era Les Paul!
Members sirkonks
I like some weight to my guitars, so thats a good thing. I just like the looks of the Washburn, and I have played Dots, Sheratons, Ibanez stuff, and this one just seems like it would be a little better. Members Funkwire
Check e-Bay or the Washburn forum for an 80s-era HB-35. A lot of them were made by Matsumoku. Mine is a 1984 and with a pickup and wiring upgrade is a hella nice axe. I got mine for $350 in 2001, they still go for around $500. It's got some heft to it (sycamore/maple construction), but I wouldn't put it in the Norlin LP weight class.
Members tlbonehead
I've owned mine, and played it for 4-5 years. Great guitar!
Members guitarman
I've got a '92 MIK natural finish and it's a great guitar. My only complaint is that the stock neck pickup is a little too dark and muddy for my tastes so I replaced it with a 'Humbucker From Hell' and that made a world of difference. Members weeladdie
Another satisfied HB35 owner. Made in China, but excellent workmanship, no finish flaws except for a couple of black dust specks, but you have to know where to look!
