Members Brian May
I wonder how they share that out...Bon Jovi being a dictatorship setup n 'all. Jon gets ???% Richie gets next best share being a co songwriter and then there's the rest of the band who are hired puppets...they must get the peanuts. That said I'm sure the 'peanuts' beat anything us peasants on here earn!
Members Spike Li
Thats pretty damn amazing considering huge bands like Metallica, U2 and Muse have all been touring this year (2010)
Members benzem
Well, on the upside, it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. However, it COULD happen to a more worthy group:lol:

Members billybilly
Jon Bon Jovi himself, is actually a very astute business man. I am sure that has something to do with it as well as riding on the coat tails of 'slippery when wet' which still makes women in their 40's wet. Members Senor Cleavage
Though not a huge Bon Jovi fan, I'm glad to see a rock band was the biggest earner instead of acts like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Miley Cryus, any rapper, etc. There's a thread in the forums about rock dying, I'd say it isn't. Granted it may be the old crew keeping it alive for the time being but whatever. edit: I don't mean to come off sounding like I think being a top earner is the yardstick to measure success/quality/worth by in music, but if Bon Jovi were the top earners it means rock is certainly not being ignored by the masses and that is cool. Members cratz2
They aren't my favorite by any stretch, but they are a solid, talented, professional band that have written a {censored}-ton of hit songs.

That said I'm sure the 'peanuts' beat anything us peasants on here earn! They aren't starving by any means. I'm sure Richie and Jon get a majority of the song royalities but I'm pretty sure they split the touring money. The only hired gun is the bass player, Jon was on Larry King a couple of weeks ago. He said that there were 4 members of the band and they have a hired touring bass player.

Members Prages
Pop Pretty sure they've had some crossover country success in recent years too. I havent heard anything from them recently that really sounded like rock music, but then I don't really listen to them intentionally either. Members akaiser77
Remember that Van Halen opened up for Bon Jovi at (IIRC) Wembley in '95. How weird is that? Bon Jovi has had more prolonged, massive, worldwide success than any other hair band of the '80s. The fact that in 2010 they can still beat AC/DC in tour revenues is amazing--and totally baffling. Good for Bon Jovi. On a talent level, they deserve nowhere near this kind of success. But they clearly have a massive work ethic and have made some very intelligent career choices. Members Gas Hed
I went to a Bon Jovi concert back in 1992 because a friend had an extra ticket. I was very impressed, they put on a hell of a show. I've been to about 4 Bon Jovi concerts in all - they are solid musicians and entertainers - I'm not surprised they're still a top earner. The only issue I have with them is Jon's lyrics can be cheesy. But Sambora is a hell of a guitarist.
