Members adicreed
Hey guys I wanted to get your opinion on this guitar. I'm going to check it out/buy it tomorrow and wanted you guys to tell me if the guitar looks legit. He's also throwing in a dimarzio tone zone-s and Suhr v60. Also 3 extra pickguards. Let me know what y'all think! his quotes"1999 Fender American standard Stratocaster professionally setup by Woodstock guitars. Serial number N8368127.Currently has fender fat 50 pickups . The lower tone control has a push/pull pot to turn the neck pickup on in any position. The tuners have also been replaced with fender locking tuners. Sorry no trades. Members TomCray
Everything looks good. Nothing fishy about it. How much is he asking for?

Members stingxnj
It's worth that without the extras. That's a good looking strat at a good price. For perspective, I paid $500 for a '97 Lone Star five years ago.
Members adicreed
and aren't an american standard worth a little more than a lonestar?
Members cratz2
Yeah man... I'd say ANY playable MIA Standard that doesn't look like it was thrown out of a speeding truck is worth $500. Nice condition is a bonus... Fat 50s are a bonus... extra pickguards are a bonus... locking tuners are a bonus...
Members TomCray
and aren't an american standard worth a little more than a lonestar? IIRC the MIA Lone Stars were only made for a couple of years, they're increasing in value. Last I seen they went $800+. The Lone Stars now are reissues from Mexico. When I was in high school, I put Texas Specials in my MIM Strat so it would sound similar to the USA Lonestar Strat, which was my favorite Strat at the time. The Texas Specials were much better than the USA Standard pickups (at least back then, can't speak for now), and they cost just a bit more. Members bruto
Nice deal. Personnally, I like the tort pickguard, but it's cool to have all the variations available. $550 seems like a fair price if you can spare it.
