Members EdgarSatriani
Just wondering if there is a tonal difference to the better. I'm satisfied with the tones as they sound closer to a tube amp and less like a sim. But as I look at this glowing thingy....I wonder.
Members cratz2
I changed the tube on my AD30VT and my original Vox Tonelab... I tried a JJ in both and I tried a couple NOS tubes in the Tonelab and I noticed absolutely ZERO difference.

If your ST is the same as my LE and original desktop Tonelab, the "glowing thingy" is an amber LED behind the tube. Doesn't mean the tube doesn't do anything, just that it's a starved-plate design that doesn't send enough voltage to make the tube glow on its own. They sound great anyway.
