Members jrockbridge
I start with this:Everything at 12:00. Except the reverb. Agreed....and that's 6 on my Fender. After that, the treble, mid and bass get adjusted up or down depending on the room.
Members Fireproof777
Depends on the song. Being in a cover band, I try not to use just one blanket setting and instead try to get tones that are close to the originals so I'm all over the place on settings (using a Vox Tonelab SE). For originals, I'm more around Bass = 8, Mids = 5, Treb = 8/9 (if it's too trebly, I roll off on the tone knob), Pre-Amp = 10, Master = 7 and then use various settings for Delay, Verb, etc.
Members Deadbeat Son
I have four, and they're all set radically different. My main gigging amp is set to loud.
Members kayd_mon
Volume 3:00Treble 1:00Bass 11:00Tone Cut 7:00 (that's full treble)Reverb 8:00 This is on an AC30. The controls on my AC15 are only slightly different. I'll adjust slightly for certain guitars, but that's pretty much where the knobs go.

Members docjeffrey
I never use the exact same settings twice, but I start with everything 1/2 way up. One interesting setting if you have a Fender Tweed Deluxe is to turn the mic volume up full, plug into the instrument input, and then turn the instrument knob to the desired volume level. The tone control can be adjusted to get a beautiful Black Face sound with plenty of punch and sparkle.
