I dunno. Looks good, but $2000 for a Korean guitar?

Not that Korean guitars aren't good. But you'd better like it because the resale would be a catastrophe.

I thought they were made in Germany?

In fact, everything I can find indicated they are built in Hannover, Germany

Well, that's not what internet people say these days. Who knows? Not me, I haven't witnessed their production.

All I know is that the wise men on the internet now say that Duesenbergs are made in Korea and assembled and set up in Germany. Like they say Edwards guitars are made in China and assembled in Japan. This has caused Duesenbergs' popularity to plummet.

I have an Edwards and like it; maybe it's worth more than I paid (around $700 shipped). I don't care if it's mostly made in China. But then I didn't pay $2000 for it thinking it was all MIJ.

Hmm.. well, if this is true then I am indeed a bit disappointed. While I don't generally care about country of origin I also don't like being deceived. A Duesenberg was really high on my short list of potential rewards should I meet my investment goals this year but I'm not really sure I want to pay that much when they aren't even made where they claim. Maybe I'll save $1000+ and get a Reverend Rick Vito signature instead.
