Members spokenward
We had a rash of "Anyone" questions. Now that those have slipped gracefully to page 3 - it's time for another one! Anyone using the Lua programming language? http://www.lua.org/ It is a scripting language that has been used with audio and MIDI, for example with Max/MSP. http://www.mat.ucsb.edu/~wakefield/lua~/lua~.htm People have used it to write extensions for game platforms Currently one of the programming tools for mobile applications like those for iOS and Android and now Nook Color are wrapped into Lua. Got a book recommendation or web resource that helped you get your head around it? Any thoughts on what it does well? Any dealbreakers that caused you to walk away from it? Or 'I tried it and now I'm using _______?' thanks!
