Members Matt Gnarly
I had no idea that Squier were making a Jazzmaster, I wonder how it stacks up to the Blacktop JM.

Members FoonkySteve
I like the maple on the squire Jazzmaster, i just wish it had an extra fret on there!
Members vintage clubber
I kinda like the maple neck/board. I'm not crazy about the top loader bridge though. I would have preferred a strat trem on it...

Members citizens_X
Damn, I've been out of the loop... there's a squier vintage modified Jaguar as well. http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0302700540 They'll probably be discontinuing the Jagmaster soon. Members Beyer160
I normally don't dig maple necks, but they actually look pretty good on these. However, to me, getting rid of the trem is like taking the engine out of a Porsche and replacing it with one from a Ford Escort.
Members SirJackdeFuzz
Did they re-label the Jagmaster to the new Jazzmaster HH ???
Members imbuedblue
I'd hit that if it had the standard tailpiece/bridge configuration.

Members d_dave_c
I'd try to snag one of those new MIJ Jazzmaster's binding and dot necks off e-bay. Those are sick. Of course, that neck prob'ly costs more than the Squier.
Members poolshark
I'm normally pretty traditional with offsets, but I like the all-business approach of these. Are they really Jazzmasters and Jaguars? Maybe not. But I like 'em.

Members Matt Gnarly
I'm on the fence about the trem, but for the price they look great, would love one in sonic blue though.

Clever Squier, just enough differences, to keep all three models selling. Although, i wouldn't be surprised if the Jagmaster gets discontuniued next year. Could be a good time to pick one up! If the Jags and Jazzies do well this year, we could well see some different finishes, and options coming in the next couple of years! Woohoo!
