Members axegrinder Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 I stumbled onto this while looking for pickguard making videos. Pretty damn cool axe if you ask me...cool builder dude too. [video=youtube;N-evGedydIk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-evGedydIk
Members ExiledCrow Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 Cool, that guy is on my subscription list on youtube, he has a lot of cool build/repair vids.
Members brianeharmonjr Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 He's a talented guy and I'm very glad he does what he does, but his video intro is almost as long as most of his videos and if he says "Good times" at the end of every other sentence.
Members A Happy Crowd Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 I don't care much for the checkerboard, but that guitar would look really cool with the black pickguard.
Members Fireproof777 Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 Not my thing, but kinda cool.....I feel the need for a milkshake now.
Members sk8centilli Posted January 15, 2011 Members Posted January 15, 2011 That's a cool combination of the checkerboard with "strawberry milk"
Members axegrinder Posted January 16, 2011 Author Members Posted January 16, 2011 Seriously ? LOL nobody said you had to like it...it's not exactly my thing either. But if your stomach is so weak why on earth did you ignore the thread title?
Members GAS Man Posted January 16, 2011 Members Posted January 16, 2011 Hhmm, I remember when I worked with that (or similar) plastic way back in 8th grade shop, after the cutting there was various filing coarsenesses, sandings and buffings to get the edge of the plastic to a mirror smoothness. He just seemed to go straight from router to guitar. I get that the router would replace the filing I did, but I would think there would still be some sanding, wet sanding and buffing.
